I searched for 2 years to find a decent car to convert and this is well above average condition for its year. I have had 4 of these estates and the earlier pre facelift ones are by far the best to own.
Full leather interior in grey with electric drivers seat.

The car runs and drives but does require minor tuning and very minor bits and pieces to finish (mainly tidying up, surface rust on discs etc) .

Purchased in 2018 and all work carried out since then but now for sale due to ill health.

Update
Had lots of questions about the car and here goes:- the elements are 7.5mm. The turbo is a Garrett GT 30 which was bought new by my son to fit on a BMW project that never happened so I just fitted it as it runs great with less lag than my other OM606 (that’s in a Dodge truck with a Holset super40 on it) and it makes 30lbs of boost.
The gearbox is a standard Merc 6 speed that’s been ok but was destined to be uprated to a BMW box and heavy duty clutch later.
the drive shaft is a modded w210 and the diff is standard to the car.
It was a work in progress that stalled when my son went back to VW toys.
