A rare opportunity to buy a Golf that is completely standard & not been modified with the rarer paint code – LP5U (Bright Blue Metallic). The car has a clear Car Vertical report showing having never been written-off or damaged. It is fitted with the correct BBS RA 15inch alloy wheels with Good Year tyres which have only covered 4000 miles. Everything works exactly as the day it came out of the factory.
It was last serviced October where it had an oil (Castrol Magnatec) & filter change, plugs, distributor cap, rotor, coil, knock sensor & ignition module changed prior to MOT which is now due 03/11/23.
The car still has its original engine, which is testament to how well it has been looked after, the cylinder head was renewed with an original complete cylinder head fitted with camshaft, valves & hydraulic lifters direct from VW (£1100), cambelt & tensioner kit, along with all the coolant hoses were renewed. The oil pump was renewed as a precaution last year during an oil change. The exhaust is standard & is pre-catalytic convertor. The clutch & gearbox are smooth with no crunching & power steering is well weighted.
