am selling my MK1 Ford Mondeo LX. It is a 1.8 5-speed petrol with genuine 98,000 miles. The car has MOT until October 2023 and only 2 former keepers from new. It comes with the original handbook/book pack and two original keys. The car is totally standard and original, except for the CD player (original tape unit included).

The interior is in near-immaculate condition, with cloth seats that have no rips, tears, or worn bolsters. The car has fitted car mats and all original glass (front windscreen delaminating a bit at the bottom). The central locking and dead lock alarm system are fully working.

The bodywork is solid, with only a dent on the N/S wing, which I replaced with a second-hand genuine wing (needs painting). The rear arches have a slight bubbling, and there is a bit of lacquer peel on the bonnet. The car has its original dealership reg plates and tax disc holder too.

I bought the car from the last owner who had it off the road since 2014. I fully serviced the engine and replaced the timing belt. For its MOT, it had new rear brakes fitted and needed three bits of welding (one patch on NSR outer sill and two small patches on the front floor). The car has not had any welding before this.

This is a genuine, good, solid, original car that is much appreciated as a classic and only going up in value. It is located in Newcastle upon Tyne.
