I bought it 16 months ago on a whim because I always wanted one and love the shape. I have enjoyed owning and driving it, but I have now purchased a classic car, and this one is for sale because it won’t fit in the garage. I am not desperate to sell it.

The sills and arches are solid with no visible rust. It has passed two MOTs with no major problems, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. It has never let me down, and I would trust it to go anywhere. The previous owner had it for several years with no issues. However, there is very little history with the car, and it has been an insurance write-off at some point, which is documented on the log book.

The auto box is smooth, and the kickdown operates well. It also has a power mode and an overdrive type switch for better fuel economy. The faults that I know of include the auto box, which requires pressing the red button to get it into drive when cold, but it is fine when warm (it has not bothered me), the radio does not work, the electric aerial does not work, the alloys need refurbishment, and the central locking can be temperamental. The paintwork looks good from a distance, but on closer inspection, there are differences in shades on a few panels, and there are a few small dents and scuffs, but they do not detract from the overall condition. The interior is clean with no rips.

It has a full MOT as of 8th February, but it is a category write-off, and insurance for me is on a classic, so it is very reasonable. Tax is approximately £26 per month. The mileage shows 59k, but it is not guaranteed. However, the MOT history supports this with steady increases over the years.
