Long MOT

Welcome to the sale of my1995 Volvo 850 GLT. It’s the 2 litre 20v engine, which runs smoothly and quietly. It has an automatic gearbox which changes gears and functions well. The steering is precise. The suspension works well without any knocks or bangs. The tyres are recent with Michelin Energy on the front and Landsail on the rear. They provide good grip and comfort. The car drives very well and handles well, too. The paintwork is in good order for it’s age, I believe the previous owner was an elder gent who hand washed it. Do bear in mind there are some marks and scuffs, dents all shown in the photos. There is only one area of rust, which is by the rear passenger window and is minor (see the photos). There are some issues to note. The odometer stopped after it’s MOT in November 2022. The Central locking fob does not work and the car has to be locked/unlocked using the key in the passenger door (The Driver’s side door lock does not turn). The heater fan switch works on position 4 only, this needs a new resistor which can be bought on eBay, too and fitted near the glovebox. The Aircon does not work, It may need re-gassing. There are no warning lights on the dash and the car presents well.

I have replaced this car and I want to sell it to someone who can cherish it. There is no service history, I believe this car has been sold after a bereavement. The oil is clean as is the coolant. It warms up quickly and never overheats or smokes. It will give years of service if it finds a good owner.
