Welcome to the auction for my low mileage Jaguar XJ6 Executive X300 3.2. This car has been my daily driver for a while and I even took it to the south of France last summer. It drives really well and has been trouble-free.

Mechanically, the car just passed its MOT, only needing two new exhaust silencers which we replaced and got a clear MOT. Before the summer, I replaced the rear springs and bushes as well as the front suspension bushes and spark plugs. One thing to note is that there is a knocking sound when going over a pothole, which is coming from the LH rear subframe bush. I have the bush and it will come with the car, but I haven’t had the time to replace it yet. The car has four nearly new (1000 miles done on them) Michelin and Goodyear winter tires, and the discs and pads are recent too.

The bodywork has some “door knocks” and a scratch on the front left corner of the bumper, which are visible in the pictures. The wheel arches and bottom of the front wings haven’t been welded and are totally rust-free. The clear coat on the roof is well gone on the front part above the windscreen and is looking matte. It has started to go on the bonnet but is not overly visible.

The traditional beige interior is fully original, and everything is working as it should. Due to its low mileage, the seats are in really good condition. The car has a lovely half leather/half wooden steering wheel. The seats are partially electric and manual, and they function well. The cruise control is also working as it should. The small digital screen on the radio is not showing anything, but the radio is working as it should. You just can’t see which waveband you’re on. The cassette reader and CD changer are working as they should too. The car comes with two keys and working fobs.

Overall, this is a really honest and original low mileage XJ with just over 87k miles. The bodywork is solid with some cosmetic issues that can be addressed if you want a perfect car. Mechanically, it is a really good car with a bush to change (provided).
