For sale is my 1998 Peugeot 106 Quicksilver. The car has 113,000 miles on the clock and a full 12-month MOT. The interior is in very good condition for a 25-year-old car and the car is all original. The sale will include the service manual with stamps and receipts, as well as the V5.

Last year, I purchased the car after it had been standing for 9 years. I have since performed the following work: new oil and filter, new battery, new front discs and pads, new tyres and wipers, new catalytic converter, new air filter, new fuel pump, new spark plugs, and a new radiator. There was some rust on the off-side chassis leg, which was cut out, treated, and welded with a new section, making the car structurally sound again.

The car drives without any problems, but the sender unit of the fuel pump is not registering on the fuel gauge, even though it is the right pump. I can assure you that I have put £30 of petrol in. Also, I have the radio code for the original stereo, but for some reason, I cannot input it.

There are a few age-related dings on the bodywork, but nothing major. The original paint could do with a good polish, and the stone chip rusts on the bonnet need attending to. Please keep in mind that this was a partial restoration to bring the car back on the road.
