For sale my VW Golf Cabriolet Avantgarde, with all the extra refinements. Blue/Cream interior and comes with matching cream tonneau cover.

The good bits:

– Just passed its MOT, so comes with 12 months ticket
– Full electric pack: windows, mirrors, roof
– Had four new tyres around 500 miles ago
– Just had new exhaust back box
– New front shocks
– Comes with full service kit, inc. all filters, oils, break pads and discs
– Starts on turn of the key, even after being sat for 4 weeks
– Runs and drives well
– Lots of service history
– No rot.

Bad bits:
– O/S electric window needs repair. The motor still works and it tries to bring the window down/up, but I think it has fallen off the rail or the rail has broke. New rail on ebay is £50 – I just don’t have the time to do it.
– Hood has two small splits in the usual seams. Superficial only and does not leak.
– Slight noticable dent on bonnet approx, 2inch.

– Please bare in mind, this car is over 22yrs old – it has the usual wear that would be expect of a car this age with the mileage. Its a straight car which is a joy in the summer with the roof down. Reason for sale is I’m running this and a van, and the car is not practical for me with two small kids. There are only 319 of these left on the road in the UK, adn with the right owner who has the time and willing to take care of it, you’ll have a lovely car. The engine really is a good one, it starts on the key and doesn’t miss a beat.

I bought this car 12 months ago for £1600. Car is sold as seen and will come with two keys, service kit and history pack up.
