On offer is a unique opportunity to purchase a BMW E36 Convertible, with a full genuine AC Schnitzer package installed. There isn’t another vehicle for sale with as much AC Schnitzer equipment as there is on this one, that I can find currently.
I have happily owned this vehicle for the last 9 years.
You will struggle to find the AC Schnitzer Genuine parts that are on this vehicle, all in one place, which is the first of the main selling points of this BMW. The second is the forced induction supercharged 2.5l inline 6 M52B25 motor, again, unique and not the normal turbo forced induction route, that many other enthusiasts pursue.
I set out to create a forced induction motor 1st, rather than tend to the visual aspects of the vehicle at that stage and I have spent circa £20,000 in the process, over the years of my ownership, with all receipts to prove. The thinking behind this, was to tackle the most difficult aspect of the build 1st, finishing off with the aesthetics later on.
